Russell 2000 Suffers Longest Monthly Losing Streak In Four Years
The Russell 2000 Index fell 5.1% in September to suffer a third-straight monthly decline. That's the longest monthly losing streak for the small-capitalization company tracker since the five-month streak ending September 2011. The 12.2% decline since the end of June is the biggest three-month percentage decline since it lost 22% in three months ending September 2011.
