Roper Industries Raises Dividend 25%

Roper Industries said on Wednesday that it will raise its quarterly dividend by 25% to 25 cents a share. The provider of engineered products said the new dividend will be payable Jan. 23, 2015 to shareholders of record as of Jan. 9. On an annual basis, and based on Tuesday's closing price of $150.93, the new dividend represents a yield of 0.7% on the stock. The shares, which were still inactive in premarket trade, have gained 8.8% this year through Tuesday, compared with a 6.7% rise in the S&P 500.
