Rent-A-Center Shares Jump On Earnings Beat

Rent-A-Center Inc. shares jumped in the extended session Monday after the company topped Wall Street estimates. Rent-A-Center shares rose 8.7% to $29.40 on moderate volume. The company reported adjusted first-quarter earnings of 52 cents a share on revenue of $877.6 million. Analysts surveyed by FactSet had forecast 49 cents a share on revenue of $861.2 million.
