Recalls this week: comforters, power adapters, bar stools

A line of comforters are being recalled this week because of the potential presence of mold. Other recalled consumer products include digital camera power adapters and bar stools.

COMFORTERS

DETAILS: Hudson comforters by UGG. They were sold at Bed Bath & Beyond stores and at www.bedbathandbeyond.com from August 2017 through October 2017.

WHY: Mold can be present, posing a risk of respiratory or other infections in individuals with compromised immune systems, damaged lungs or an allergy to mold.

INCIDENTS: None reported.

HOW MANY: About 175,000 in the U.S. and 20 in Canada.

DIGITAL CAMERA POWER ADAPTERS

DETAILS: AC-5VF power adapter wall plugs sold with Fujifilm digital camera models XP90, XP95, XP120, XP125, X-A3 and X-A10. The digital cameras were sold in a variety of colors. The recalled wall plugs are black and are combined with a power adapter and USB cord that plugs into the adapter. Model number "AC-5VF" is printed on the back of the power adapter. The serial number is printed on the bottom of the camera or under the battery compartment lid. To check your serial number, visit http://fujifilmusa.com/support/recall/index.html . They were sold at Mass merchandisers, electronics and membership club stores nationwide and at Amazon.com and other websites. The XP90 and XP95 were sold from June 2016 through January 2018, the XP120 and XP125 were sold from January 2017 through January 2018, the X-A3 was sold from October 2016 through January 2018, and the X-A10 was sold from February 2017 through January 2018.

WHY: The power adapter wall plug can crack, break or detach and remain in the wall and expose live electrical contacts, posing a shock hazard.

INCIDENTS: None reported.

HOW MANY: About 270,000 in the U.S. and about 24,000 were sold in Canada.

BAR STOOLS

DETAILS: Polston and Collin models of swivel backless bar stools. The Polston bar stools have a tan seat cushion and metal base with four legs and were sold in a mocha color. They were sold in two sizes: counter height at 26 inches tall and bar height at 30 inches tall. The Collin bar stools have a wooden seat and metal base with four legs and were sold in two colors: mocha and white. They were sold in bar height at 30 inches tall. The model number is printed on the packaging and in the assembly instructions. They were sold at Bellacor, Bob's Discount Furniture, Platte Furniture Mart, Rooms to Go, Alladin, Lamps Plus stores nationwide and online at 123stores.com, Overstock.com, bedbathandbeyond.com, Hayneedle.com, PurchasingPower.com,Wayfair.com, and Zulily.com between March 2017 and December 2017. WHY: The stool seat can loosen or break off at the base, posing a fall hazard to the user.

INCIDENTS: Nine reports of the stool seat detaching from the base. No injuries have been reported.

BASSINETS

DETAILS: Multipro bassinets, an Indian style baby cradle. It has a swing framework with a pair of metal legs on the ends of the middle rod. The Cradle N Swing is designed to swing the child back and forth in a bassinet. The bassinet is made of polka dot fabric with a mesh opening on the side. The bassinet portion attaches to a plastic frame base and is sold in a variety of colors. Multipro is written on the outside of the storage bag. Products and related parts were sold on www.amazon.com from January 2014 through July 2017.

WHY: The bassinets fail to meet the mandatory federal safety standard for bassinets and cradles, posing fall and entrapment hazards to babies.

INCIDENTS: None reported.
