Rally Software Development Corp. shares jumped in the extended session Wednesday after CA Inc. agreed to acquire the company. Rally shares surged 42% to $19.20 on moderate volume. CA said it agreed to acquire Rally for $19.50 a share, or about $480 million. CA expects the deal to close sometime in its second fiscal quarter. CA shares were unchanged at $31.18.
