QVC Names Gregg Bertoni CEO Of Chinese Joint Venture
QVC named Gregg Bertoni chief executive officer of CNR Mall, a multimedia retailer created through a joint venture with Chinese National Radio. CNR Mall sells everything from kitchen appliances to jewelry and clothing. Bertoni will succeed James Clarke, who had been CEO since its formation in 2012. CNR Mall reaches more than 100 million homes in China, QVC said in a statement. Bertoni has held a number of roles with QVC over the past 20 years, most recently leading the company's Italian business. QVC is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Liberty Interactive Corp. Shares of the company are down 13.7% for the year-to-date, while the S&P is up 0.05% for the same period.
