Procter & Gamble names former Home Depot Chairman and CEO Francis Blake to its board
Consumer goods maker Procter & Gamble Co. on Tuesday named former Home Depot Chairman and CEO Francis Blake to its board.
Blake, 65, stepped down as CEO of Home Depot Inc. in November and as chairman on Feb. 2. He had held both roles since 2007.
Procter & Gamble Co., based in Cincinnati, is the world's largest consumer products maker. Its brands include Tide detergent, Pampers diapers and Olay skin care.
The company has 11 other directors, including American Express CEO Kenneth Chenault, Macy's CEO Terry Lundgren and Hewlett-Packard CEO Meg Whitman.
