President Obama departs Utah after delivering speech about clean energy jobs

President Barack Obama has departed Utah following a short speech he delivered Friday at Hill Air Force Base about clean energy jobs.

Air Force One left the northern Utah base at 11:27 a.m. Mountain time Friday and is headed to Washington, D.C. Obama jogged up the plane's staircase and turned around to wave goodbye before ducking inside.

The visit was Obama's first to Utah as president.

Obama stopped briefly in Park City while he was a presidential candidate in 2007.

The trip marked the 49th state that Obama has visited since becoming president.

South Dakota is the only state still awaiting a presidential trip
