Potbelly Shares Surge After Quarterly Results Top Street View

SAN FRANCISCO – Potbelly Corp. shares climbed in the extended session Tuesday after the sandwich chain's quarterly results topped Wall Street estimates. Shares of Potbelly surged 9.2% to $15.50 on moderate volume. The company reported adjusted fourth-quarter earnings of 6 cents a share on revenue of $84.8 million. Analysts surveyed by FactSet had estimated 3 cents a share on revenue of $83.3 million. The company forecast adjusted net income growth of "at least 20%" in 2015.
