Pope Francis To Speak To Congress On Sept. 24

Pope Francis will visit the U.S. Capitol on Sept. 24 and address a joint meeting of Congress, House Speaker John Boehner announced Thursday. He will be the first pope to make such an address, Boehner's office noted. The pope is also scheduled to visit Philadelphia and New York on his U.S. trip.
