Pimco Flagship Fund Sees 20th Month Of Outflows

The investor exodus out of Pimco's flagship bond fund continued into its 20th straight month in December after the company announced outflows doubled from those in November. Net outflows from the Pimco Total Return Fund are estimated at $19.4 billion, the firm said Friday. The December outflows follow the fund's $9.5 billion in outflows in November, and $27.5 billion in October, the month after Pimco founder Bill Gross said he was leaving Pimco for Janus Capital Group Inc.
