Passenger traffic at McCarran International Airport has inched up compared with a year earlier.

Data released Thursday show nearly 3.8 million people arrived and departed from the Las Vegas airport in May. That's up 0.3 percent from May 2013.

The number of passengers flying domestically was up 2.1 percent, while international traffic was up 7.2 percent for the month. Domestic flights account for the vast majority of traffic.
