Oracle Quarterly Results Flat On Stronger U.S. Dollar
Oracle Corp. said late Tuesday that fiscal third-quarter earnings were flat as a stronger U.S. dollar shaved away at revenue growth. The company reported adjusted fiscal third-quarter earnings of 68 cents a share on revenue of $9.33 billion. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected 68 cents a share on revenue of $9.47 billion. Were it not for the firmer dollar, Oracle said adjusted earnings-per-share would have risen 9%, and revenue would have grown by 6%. Oracle shares rose 0.7% to $43.17 on moderate volume in after-hours activity.
