OneTouch Direct cuts ribbon on western New York location; marketing firm hiring 150 to start

Marketing company OneTouch Direct has begun construction of a new call center in western New York and says it will immediately begin hiring 150 people.

State officials say by 2018, OneTouch Direct-NY is expected to employ 270.

The Tampa, Florida-based company will receive up to $1.25 million in tax credits from New York in exchange for its commitment to create jobs at the center in the Buffalo suburb of Orchard Park.

The company also has operations in southern Ontario, Canada. It has 2,100 employees.
