Oil Rebounds Off Multiyear Low To Settle Above $54 a Barrel

Crude-oil prices settled higher Tuesday following a session of slight gains and losses. Oil for February delivery advanced 51 cents, or 1%, to settle at $54.12 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Gasoline for January delivery was virtually unchanged, up less than 0.1% at $1.45 a gallon.
