Oil Futures Tally Monthly Gain Of 25%
Oil futures settled above $59 a barrel on Thursday as growing expectations for a slowdown in U.S. production and drawdown in the nation's glut of supplies helped prices tally a monthly gain of 25%, based on the most-active contracts. June crude settled at $59.63 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange, up $1.05, or 1.8%, for the session.
