Oil Futures Settle Down 2.3% On Day

Oil futures settled more than 2% lower on Friday to tally a loss of 0.3% for the week. Dollar-denominated oil prices fell as a strong U.S. jobs report rallied the dollar. April crude fell $1.15, or 2.3%, to settle at $49.61 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
