Officials: 1 person believed missing after grain storage building wall collapses in Michigan
One person is believed to be missing after a grain storage building wall collapsed at a Michigan agricultural services company.
Northeast Ingham Emergency Services Authority Director Dave Harper tells the Lansing State Journal that officials have accounted for all but one worker at the Archer Daniels Midland facility in Webberville.
Several crews were working near the building when the wall fell about 1:15 p.m. Wednesday.
Ingham County Homeland Security & Emergency Management spokesman Rob Dale tells The Associated Press that crews "aren't able to get to the victim" and that "some large cranes" are being brought in to remove parts of the building.
Dales says "tons of grain" also have to be moved.
Archer Daniels Midland produces food ingredients, animal feeds and feed ingredients, biofuels and other products.
