Obama Says Turkey Has Right To Defend Its Airspace

President Barack Obama said Tuesday that Turkey has a right to defend itself and its airspace. Obama spoke at the White House following the downing of a Russian jet by the Turkish military. At a news conference with French President Francois Hollande, Obama said it was important for Russia and Turkey to talk to each other and avoid an escalation of tensions. Hollande, meanwhile, said that he and Obama agreed to step up strikes against the group ISIS in both Syria and Iraq.
