Obama: 'I Did Not Have a Chance' To Watch Netanyahu Speech
President Barack Obama said Tuesday he didn't have the opportunity to watch a speech to Congress by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. "I did not have a chance to watch Prime Minister Netanyahu's speech," Obama told reporters, adding he was discussing the Ukraine crisis with European leaders during the speech. Obama defended the deal the U.S. and other nations are trying to broker with Iran to prevent the country from acquiring a nuclear weapon. Obama said without a deal, Iran would accelerate its nuclear program. Netanyahu has not offered a viable alternative, Obama said.
