NYSE: No Cyberattack; Internal Issue Caused Trading Halt

The New York Stock Exchange said its lengthy Wednesday trading halt was due to "an internal technical issue," reassuring investors that the NYSE had not been the target of a "cyber breach." In a Twitter post, the exchange added: "We chose to suspend trading on NYSE to avoid problems arising from our technical issue."
