Nov. Car And Light Truck Sales Were Second-highest In Eight Years

U.S. car and light truck sales in November reached the second-highest level in eight years, according to figures from Autodata. Sales rose to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 17.2 million, up from 16.5 million in October and the best level since August. Economists polled by MarketWatch had anticipated a 16.5 million rate.
