Netflix Is Now Available In Cuba

Netflix Inc. is now available in Cuba. The streaming film and TV service said Cuban consumers with Internet access and the ability to make international payments can sign up for its service, with a specially curated selection of films and TV shows. The offering includes Netflix's own TV series "House of Cards" and "Orange is the New Black," as well as the more recent "Marco Polo". Netflix launched its service in Latin America in 2011 and now have more than 5 million members in that region. Shares were slightly higher in midday trade and are up 16% in the last three months, while the S&P 500 has gained 1.1%.
