Natural Gas Holds Gains As Supply Data Comes In Line
SAN FRANCISCO – U.S. stockpiles of natural gas declined by 17 billion cubic feet on the week ended Nov. 14, the Energy Information Administration said Thursday. Analysts surveyed by Platts had expected natural-gas supplies to decline between 9 bcf to 13 bcf for the week. Natural-gas futures rose sharply on the data, but returned to modest gains more recently. The December contract was up 4 cents, or 0.9%, to $4.55 per million British thermal units.
