Natural-gas Futures Drop After Supply Data

U.S. natural-gas supplies declined 22 billion cubic feet on the week ended Nov. 28, the Energy Information Administration said Thursday. Analysts polled by Platts had expected natural-gas supplies to decline between 39 bcf and 43 bcf in the week. Natural-gas futures dropped after the data, and the January contract was recently down 11 cents, or 2.9%, to $3.70 per million British thermal units.
