1. Mylan (NASDAQ:MYL)


Mylan (NASDAQ:MYL) shares are rallying after the biotech company proposed a merger with Sweden-based Meda AB. The shares fell from session highs, however, after Meda's board rejected the offer.

2. Halozyme (NASDAQ:HALO)


Halozyme (NASDAQ:HALO) shares are tanking more than 30% after the drugmaker was forced to temporarily halt a mid-stage trial for a pancreatic cancer drug.

3. Micron (NASDAQ:MU)


Micron (NASDAQ:MU) shares are jumping after the chipmaker posted a better-than-expected fiscal second-quarter profit and an upbeat outlook.

4. GrubHub


GrubHub is set to make its public debut on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol "GRUB." The delivery service priced its offering of 7.4 million shares at $26 each.

5. GameStop (NYSE:GME)


GameStop shares are getting a lift after analysts at Bank of America Merrill Lynch upped their rating on the game retailer to "buy" from "neutral," according to a report by Reuters.
