Mortgage Rates Decline, Freddie Mac Says

Rates eased in the most recent week, mortgage provider Freddie Mac said Wednesday. The 30-year fixed-rate loan averaged 3.95% in the week ending Nov. 25, down from 3.97%. The 15-year fixed-rate mortgage rate was unchanged at an average 3.18%. The 5-year Treasury-indexed hybrid adjustable-rate mortgage averaged 3.01%, up from 2.98% in the prior week, and the 1-year Treasury-indexed ARM fell to an average 2.59% from 2.64%.
