Morning Natural Gas Market Report

January natural gas prices traded lower during the early morning hours as they retraced yesterday's gains. Data from the EIA showed US natural gas storage falling by 1 bcf, which was quite different than expectations for a 10 bcf injection. Total US natural gas storage stands at 3,851 bcf or 7.3% above the 5 year average. Over the last four weeks natural gas storage has increased 57 bcf.
