Mobileye Shares Climb After Second-quarter Earnings Beat

Shares of Mobileye rose 5.5% in premarket trade Tuesday after the company beat second-quarter earnings expectations. Mobileye reported net income of $26.9 million, or 11 cents per share, up from $15.3 million, or 6 cents per share, in the year-earlier period. It reported adjusted earnings of 17 cents, above the FactSet consensus of 15 cents. It reported revenue of $83.5 million, up from $52.8 million in the year-earlier period and above the FactSet consensus of $77 million. Shares of Mobileye have gained 27% in the past three months, above the S&P 500's gain of 4%.
