Micron Tech Shares Rise After Earnings Beat

Micron Technology Inc. shares rose in the extended session Thursday after the chip maker topped Wall Street estimates for the quarter. Micron shares rose 3.9% to $15.35 on heavy volume. The company reported adjusted fiscal fourth-quarter earnings of 37 cents a share on revenue of $3.6 billion. Analysts surveyed by FactSet had estimated 31 cents a share on revenue of $3.55 billion.
