Lumber Liquidators To Report Results About Two Weeks Later Than Expected

Lumber Liquidators Holdings Inc. said on Wednesday it will release results for the third quarter, ended September, on Nov. 4. That is two weeks after the company was projected to report results, according to FactSet. Third-quarter 2014 results were released on Oct. 22 and third-quarter 2013 results on Oct. 23. Earlier this month, the wood flooring company announced a settlement with the Department of Justice related to allegations that its foreign suppliers harvested more timber than their permits allowed. The stock, which was still inactive in premarket trade, has tumbled 75% year to date, amid allegations that the company was selling flooring with Chinese-made laminates that contained high levels of a cancer-causing agent. In comparison, the S&P 500 has slipped 1.4% this year.
