Krispy Kreme Shares Fall After Earnings Miss

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Inc. shares declined in the extended session Tuesday after the doughnut chain's quarterly results came in under Wall Street expectations. Shares of Krispy Kreme fell 5% to $19.17 on moderate volume. The company reported adjusted third-quarter earnings of 18 cents a share on revenue of $122.9 million. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected 19 cents a share on revenue $123.9 million. Krispy Kreme sees adjusted fiscal 2015 earnings of 69 cents to 74 cents a share. Analysts estimate 72 cents a share.
