Kraft Recalls 242,000 Cases Of Mac & Cheese Dinners

Kraft Foods Group [s:krft] is voluntarily recalling around 242,000 cases of Kraft Macaroni & Cheese Dinner, saying there's a chance they contain small metal pieces, the company said late Tuesday. The recalled product is the 7.25-ounce size of the original flavor, with "best when used by" dates of Sept. 18, 2015 through Oct. 11, 2015. The code "C2", which refers to a specific production line on which the product was made, is directly below the date on each individual box. The recalled product was shipped to customers in the U.S. and several other countries, excluding Canada. Multipacks are also affected: three-pack boxes, four-pack shrink wraps and five-pack shrink-wraps. Kraft said customers who discover they have affected boxes should return them to the store for an exchange or full refund.
