Keurig Fiscal Q4 Earnings Top Analyst Expectations
Keurig Green Mountain said late Wednesday earnings of 86 cents a share on sales of $1.19 billion in the fiscal fourth quarter, compared with 83 cents a share on sales of $1.05 billion in the same period a year ago. Adjusted for one-time items, the single-serve coffee pod and coffee machine maker earned 90 cents a share in the quarter, versus 89 cents a year ago. The FactSet consensus was for EPS of 76 cents a share on sales of $1.16 billion. The company said CFO Frances Rathke is to step down next year. Keurig said sales of brewers and accessories declined 1% over the fiscal 2014, while sales of portion packs rose 13%. It pegged net sales growth in the high-single or low-double digits in fiscal 2015. Shares fell 0.9% in after-hours trading.
