Juniper Shares Fall After Earnings Miss, Weak Outlook

Shares of Juniper Networks Inc. fell in the extended session Thursday after the computer network infrastructure company missed Wall Street estimates for the third quarter and issued a weak guidance. Juniper shares declined 5.3% to $19.25 on moderate volume. The company reported adjusted third-quarter earnings of 36 cents a share on revenue of $1.13 billion. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected earnings of 37 cents a share on revenue of $1.18 billion. For the fourth quarter, Juniper expects adjusted earnings of 28 cents to 32 cents a share on revenue of $1.03 billion to $1.08 billion. Analysts forecast 41 cents a share on revenue of $1.19 billion.
