Job Openings Rise To 14-year High In February

Job openings rose to a 14-year high of 5.13 million in February from 4.97 million in January, the Labor Department reported Tuesday. There were 1.69 unemployed people for every opening in February. The quits rate, an important measure of worker confidence, slipped to 1.9% from 2%.
