Japan Fears Send U.S. 30-Year Bonds Higher
The price of U.S. 30-year Treasury bonds rose a full point in early tradingTuesday, as Japan's escalating nuclear radiation crisis fueled a safety bid for U.S. debt.
The 30-year bond last traded 1-3/32 higher in price to yield 4.47 percent, down from 4.53 percent at Monday's close.
