Jabil Circuit Shares Up After Earnings, Revenue Beat
Jabil Circuit Inc. said Thursday it earned $87.7 million, or 45 cents a share, in the fiscal fourth quarter, reversing a loss of 13 cents a share a year ago. Revenue hit $4.7 billion in the quarter, up from $4.1 billion a year ago. Analysts polled by FactSet had expected GAAP earnings of 35 cents a share on sales of $4.5 billion. For the full 2015 fiscal year, the company reported earnings of $1.45 a share, up from $1.19 a share in fiscal 2014. The company said it expects revenue of $5.1 billion to $5.3 billion for fiscal 2016, and EPS of 72 cents to 74 cents. Shares of Jabil rose 8.2% in late trading Thursday after ending the regular session up 2.2%.
