Insurer Direct Line to cut about 2000 jobs

Direct Line Insurance Group Plc said it may cut about 2,000 positions as part of further cutbacks at Britain's biggest car insurer.

Direct Line said it expects the restructuring to cost 150 million pounds ($231.07 million), which will be recorded in 2013 or 2014.
