'How To Train Your Dragon 2' Boosts DreamWorks Results

DreamWorks Animation SKG Inc. late Wednesday said its third-quarter earnings rose to $11.9 million, or 14 cents a share, from $10.1 million, or 12 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue increased to $180.9 million versus $154.5 million. The studio credited "How to Train Your Dragon 2" for robust results. DreamWorks forecast fourth-quarter earnings to be driven by its feature film segment, aided by the release of "Penguins of Madagascar." Shares of DreamWorks jumped 5.2% in extended trading.
