Houthi Fighters Disperse Protests In Yemen's Capital

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Houthi rebels dispersed a protest against their takeover of the Yemeni capita of San'a, Al Jazeera reported Sunday. Over the weekend, thousands gathered across Yemen to demonstrate, supporting the Shiite Houthis or demanding the secession of the southern part of the nation. Yemeni President Abed Rabbo Hadi and his cabinet resigned Thursday under pressure from the rebels. Yemen is a key U.S. ally in the region.
