Hillary Clinton Agrees To Testify In Congress About Benghazi, Lawyer Says
Hillary Clinton has agreed to testify to a congressional panel about the attack in Benghazi, Libya, her lawyer said. In a letter to Rep. Trey Gowdy, a South Carolina Republican, Clinton attorney David Kendall said Clinton agreed to testify as soon as the week of May 18. Gowdy leads the House Select Committee on Benghazi, which is probing the September 2012 attack on the U.S. consulate in the Libyan city. The attack, in which four Americans died, took place during Clinton's term as secretary of state.
