Helen Of Troy Shares Jump After Earnings Beat, Outlook
Helen of Troy Ltd. shares jumped in the extended session Thursday after the housewares and beauty products company topped Wall Street estimates and offered an encouraging outlook. Shares rose 8.3% to $102.65 in after-hours activity. The company reported adjusted fiscal second-quarter earnings of $1.12 a share on revenue of $369.1 million. Analysts surveyed by FactSet had estimated earnings of $1.03 a share on revenue of $338.6 million. Helen of Troy forecast adjusted fiscal 2016 earnings of $5.50 to $5.85 a share on revenue of $1.5 billion to $1.54 billion. Analysts have estimated $5.59 a share on revenue of $1.51 billion.
