Guess Hires Nike CFO as New COO
Clothing and accessories maker Guess (NYSE:GES) announced on Wednesday it has hired former Nike (NYSE:NKE) CFO J. Michael Prince to serve as its chief operating officer. Prince served the last year as CFO of Nike’s affiliates division, and the previous three years as CFO of Converse, another Nike segment.
Prince will replace Carlos Alberini, who left Guess to serve as co-CEO of Restoration Hardware (NYSE:RSTO) in June. Prince is scheduled to take over on November 15.
Guess CEO Paul Marciano said in a company statement that Prince brings "an impressive track record in the areas of finance, international infrastructure management and enterprise-wide business transformations, and has been instrumental in developing and executing strategies to support the global expansion of several lifestyle brands.”
