Online payroll software company ZenPayroll said Monday that Google Capital is leading a $60 million round of funding, bringing its total funding to date to $86.1 million. Other participants in the funding round include Emergence Capital Partners and Ribbit Capital, as well as existing investors General Catalyst, Kleiner Perkins Caulfield & Byers and Google Ventures. ZenPayroll was set up in 2012 to service companies in California. The company now processes annual payroll for more than 10,000 small businesses across the U.S.
