Gold Settles Slightly Higher After Touching Multimonth Lows
Gold futures settled higher Monday following a drop to their lowest levels in more than 10 months last week. Gold for February delivery settled up $5.30, or 0.5%, at $1,142.70 an ounce as the U.S. Dollar index was largely unchanged. Silver for March delivery settled down 12.6 cents, or 0.8%, at $16.09 an ounce.
