Gold futures settled lower Friday for a ninth session in a row as monthly data on U.S. nonfarm payrolls fed expectations that the Federal Reserve will announce a decision to raise interest rates at its meeting next week. April gold fell $1.80, or 0.2%, to settle at $1,201.40 an ounce. Prices lost about 2% for the week, according to FactSet data.
