Gold Makes Last-minute Turnaround, Up Over 3% On Week
Gold futures finished a dime higher on Friday, following a turn upward in the final minutes of trading on Comex. Prices found support from a weaker U.S. dollar and posted a gain of 3.1% for the week, their second weekly gain in a row. June gold rose 10 cents for the session to settle at $1,225.30 an ounce on Comex.
