Gold Logs Three Session Loss, Down a Few Cents On Week

Gold futures on Friday fell for a third session in a row to finish the week with a modest loss of 50 cents an ounce. June gold lost $7.60, or 0.7%, to settle at $1,174.50 an ounce on Comex. The contract settled at $1,175 a week ago.
