Gold Ends Higher, Posts First Weekly Gain In 2 Weeks

Gold futures finished with a gain Thursday, posting their first weekly advance in two weeks, as the dollar retreated in a holiday-shortened session on the eve of Christmas. February gold picked up $7.60, or 0.7%, to settle at $1,075.90 an ounce. The metals market closed an hour earlier on Thursday and is closed for Christmas on Friday.
